Wedding Hybrid Photography and Video
Your photographs capture memories.
Your highlight film brings them back to life.
A wedding highlight film is an 5–10 minute cinematic story of your day. Artistically created from movement, sound, atmosphere and emotion. It’s for couples who want more than still memories. It’s for those who want to experience their day again.

What is a Wedding Highlight Film?
Your highlight film is not traditional videography, it is something that is a complimentary addition to the photography and creates an artistic version of how I saw your wedding day.
There's no staged moments, no pressure to perform. Your highlight film will be made without you ever noticing that it's happening.
Every wedding is different and therefore every highlight film will be different.
The video is made of short clips taken mostly during the "inbetween" moments. So I'll never guarentee that things like your first kiss would be included.
If full videography is too much (whether it's the price, or not wanting lots of extra people following you round) but you want something that you can watch back and remember the feeling of your wedding day then a highlight film might be right for you.
What your film includes
- A 5–10 minute cinematic highlight film
- Filmed alongside your photography coverage
- Thoughtful, story-led editing
- Delivered alongside your online gallery
- Natural audio moments woven throughout (where possible)
Your film is designed to complement your photography, not compete with it, creating a fuller, more immersive memory of your wedding day.
How it works alongside your photography
Because I’m already there with my second shooter telling your story through photographs, adding a highlight film is seamless.
There’s no additional people, no disruption and no change to how your day feels. Everything is captured in the same documentary, unobtrusive way, allowing your story to unfold naturally.
How long is a highlight film?
The length of the final highlight film with be based on the length of your celebrations and your specific plans. Typically highlight videos for a full wedding day would be 5-10 minutes long.
How to know if a highlight film is right for you
I. Full videography is a no
Too many people, too expensive, just not that bothered. Whatever the reason, if you're not thinking of a full videography service then it could be for you.
II. You want a little something to watch back
You don't want to sit down once every 10 years and watch the full length version of your wedding day but you just want a little something to watch back and remember it with. Something you can look at regularly that is more about getting those feelings back, the energy and the atmosphere rather than watching the full length version of your speeches.
III. You've watched my highlight films and want a version of that for your wedding
A highlight film is an artistic impression of your wedding. Short clips put together in a way that shows you how I saw your wedding as a observer. The energy, the atmosphere, the love. If you don't want videography and don't want the guarentee of specific things recording but you've watched some examples and it feels right, then a highlight film is for you.
What isn't included in a highlight film
Every highlight film is different and (although I may add some of these things) I will never guarentee that you will get:
- Recorded audio (speeches, vows etc)
- Specific moments (first kiss, rings etc)
- Long full length clips
**If you are looking to have these things guarenteed I recommend finding a Videographer. There are lots of amazing options out there and I'd be happy to recommend some if you need help finding the right person for you.
